Bald Eagles fishing for herring
in Alaska's Inside Passage

These eagles were catching the spawning herring while
sea lions fed on the herring from underneath. You can see
the splashes as the herring try to escape the sea lions only to be captured by the eagles! This amazing event happens
in April and May, before the tourist season begins!
