Tour Release, Indemnity and Cancellation Policy
Wildside Tours, their affiliates, and cooperating airlines and agencies (hereafter referred to as THEY) act only in the capacity of agents in all matters of tour transportation and operation, and their liability is limited to the terms of the airline tickets and land accommodation contracts. THEY are not liable for any delays, inconveniences, expense or mishap of any kind whatsoever resulting entirely, or in part, from the negligence of others or from causes beyond their control. THEY can accept no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to changes in air or other services, sickness, weather, strike, war, quarantine, or other causes. All such losses or expenses will be borne by the passenger, as tour rates provide for arrangements only for the time stated. the right is reserved to substitute accommodations or modes of transportation and to make any changes in the itinerary where deemed necessary or caused by changes in air schedules. On expeditions of this type it is not possible to accommodate persons with severe health problems or disabilities which involve walking or other activities. It is the passengers responsibility to judge the appropriateness of these travel activities to their physical capabilities. Wildside Tours, and its affiliates, take no responsibility for special arrangements or problems incurred by passengers physically unable to participate in the planned activities. The right is reserved to decline to accept or retain any person as a tour member for any reason which affects the operation of the tour or the rights and welfare or enjoyment of the other tour members. Wildside Tours will not discriminate against any individual because of race, sex, creed, or nationality. A refund of the cost of recoverable land tour services is the limit of Wildside Tours and its affiliates’ liability. Furthermore, I hereby agree to abide by the reservation, cancellation and refund policies set by Wildside Tours.
Reservation, Cancellation and Refund Policy: US$500 deposit per person is required to hold your space. Full payment is required 120 days prior to departure. Because Wildside Tours commits a large portion of its tour costs long before departure, we must abide by the following cancellation schedule to protect our interests and integrity with our suppliers. We strongly recommend our clients purchase cancellation insurance in case of emergency or illness. Refund of deposit and any tour payments made (not including air fare), less a US$100 handling fee, will be made if cancellation is received in writing more than 120 days prior to tour departure. Thereafter, all deposits and payments are non-refundable. Refunds for air fare, once ticketed, are determined by the airline and must be handled directly with the issuing airline.
The right is reserved to cancel any tour prior to departure, in which case a full refund will constitute full settlement to the passenger. The right is reserved to substitute another guide for the original one. Where this is necessary, notification will be given to tour members and they will have the right to cancel their participation and receive either a full refund or credit toward a future tour. All refunds will be paid in US funds by company check within 90 days after scheduled tour return date.
The terms of this agreement are contractual and are not a mere recital.
